Bisa dipastikan kalau kamu orang Aceh, begitu melihat atau mendengar nama kuah Pliek U disebut langsung bawaanya lapar kan ? Samma... sambil ngetik sambil ngiler ni :(.

Sekilas Info tentang kuah Pliek
Kuah pliek adalah salah satu masakan khas Aceh, dimana Pliek U nya itu sendiri dibuat dari kepala yang dibusukkan. Nah Loh!!! 
Eits..Coba dulu.. pasti ketagihan !!

Udah sering makan tapi tidak tau cara memasaknya? jangan risau ini saya bagikan resepnya. 
Silakan sediakan kertas dan pulpen.
Bahan:
  • 250 gram Pliek U
  • 100 gram Kacang panjang
  •  4 ikat Daun melinjo
  • 100 gram Buah melinjo 
  • 1 iris Buah kates mengkal 
  • Nangka muda dipotong kecil2
  • Cabe hijau
  • Serai
  • Daun Jeruk
  • Daun Koja (temurui)
  • Garam
  • Gula
kalau ada tambahan udang,tiram, atau cu pasti lebih mantap.
Bahan Halus:
  • 20 buah Cabe rawit
  • 5 buah Asam sunti
  • 8 -10 siung Bawang merah
  • 5 butir Bawang putih
  • Jahe sedikit
  • 1 cm Kunyit 1 sendok (kalo ada aweh masak)
  • Ketumbar 
  • U neulee (kelapa gongseng 1-2 sdm)
  • 1 buah kelapa (santan)
Cara Membuat:
1. Potong-potong semua sayuran. Cuci bersih dan tiriskan.
2. Gongseng Pliek U, tambahkan air dan panaskan sebentar.
3. Haluskan bersama kelapa/santan. Saring.
4. Rebus nangka, melinjo, dan daun melinjo hingga setengah matang.
5. Masukkan santan/Pliek u yang telah disaring tambahkan bumbu halus. Aduk-aduk agar santan tidak pecah.
6. Masukkan kacang panjang, kates, daun koja, daun jeruk, serai dan cabe hijau.
7. Masukkan bahan tambahan: udang, kikil, tiram dan cu jika ada.
8. Tambahkan sedikit garam dan gula. Tunggu sampai mendidih dan harum.

In Fact, this is actually a tipycal fried chicken from Aceh Rayeuk known as Ayam Tangkap. However, it became famous right after Tsunami hit Aceh. Then, some people call it Tsunami Fried Chicken.

Ingredients
  • 1 Chicken, cut into small pieces (Local Chicken is recommended) 
  • 2 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
  • 10 Sprigs of Curry leaves (Aceh: Temurui)
  • 5 Pieces of Pandan leaves
  • 1 liter of Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of boiled water
  • 8 Green Chilies 
  • Seasoning 
  • 3 cloves of Garlic 
  • 3 pieces of Onion, sliced 
  • 5 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 2 cm Turmeric
  • 2 cm Fresh Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarin water to taste
Directions
  • Clean the chicken. Put in the bowl then sprinkle with lemon juice and salt to eliminate the smell. 
  • Blend all seasoning then mix with boiled water. 
  • Pour the seasoning to chicken pieces, refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. 
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer. The oil should be just enough to cover chicken pieces entirely. 
  • Put the chicken into hot oil, wait until it getting browned. 
  • Add sliced union, curry leaf, pandan leaves and green chilies before the chicken is really cooked. 
  • Remove from heat and drain. The Fried Chicken is ready to be served.

Preparation
